Rockstars brings our mobile climbing wall to campus and gives Kainalu students in grades K–6 the opportunity to learn and improve their rock climbing skills in a FUN, SAFE environment.
With 30 years of experience, Rockstars helps children build:

Students climb on our 24-foot mobile climbing wall, protected by steel cables and auto-belay systems. They also learn basic climbing knots to develop cognitive skills, coordination and focus.
Children are encouraged to climb as high as they dare, overcome challenges and discover what they are capable of.
Kindergarten Enrollment
Kindergarten students may request a place in the program. Acceptance is considered individually and is not guaranteed.
After receiving the registration form, Andy will contact the parent for a brief phone conversation to discuss whether the class is a good fit. Enrollment will be confirmed following that conversation.
New this year – Payment Plan available
Choose 1 payment of $480 or two automatic payments of $240, 6 weeks apart. Select the payment-plan option when registering and we’ll email you a PayPal payment link. A PayPal account is required for the payment plan.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is any experience necessary?
Absolutely not ! Kids will learn to climb at their own pace and do not need experience.
Does my child need climbing shoes?
No, climbing shoes are not necessary. Climbing shoes do help, however they are expensive and kids grow out of them quickly. Kids may not climb in sandals, crocks, flip flops, or any open toed shoes. Most kids climb in their own sports shoes. Flat soled soccer shoes are a good alternative.
What equipment does Rockstars provide?
We provide all the technical equipment needed for climbing. Harnesses, helmuts, ropes, carabiners .
How does my kid get to rock climbing class at Kainalu
If your child is in an after school program, the teachers will direct students where to go.
If your child is coming from home, you will need bring them to the climbing wall.
How do my kids get home from class?
We will bring the students to the pick up circle at the class finish time.
Please be on time to pick them up as we are unable to wait for parents as we have another class to start.
Are classes open to students outside of Kainalu?
At this time no. Please contact us for other options
Climbing Wall Location
Rockstars operates on a mobile rock climbing wall and will be set up on campus.
